Requirements

: Proven experience in an IT support role.Ability to work independently in a standalone role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365.Understanding of IT security, backups, and business continuity.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively.Full UK driving licence.Desirable: experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multi-site environments.Desirable: knowledge of ERP/business systems support, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision.Desirable: experience in Construction, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, or Services industries. Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for all IT support issues across the UK business.Work closely with Group IT to ensure alignment with group policies and procedures.Provide first and second line support for hardware, software, network, and user-related issues.Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, tablets, printers, and mobile devices.Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including equipment setup and access management.Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Office apps.Manage user accounts and permissions.Monitor and maintain IT equipment, software licensing, backups, and cybersecurity controls.Maintain accurate IT asset registers, system documentation, and support records.Assist with system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and IT projects.Ensure compliance with company IT policies, GDPR, and security best practices.Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall IT efficiency.
